As a graduate student at Towson I continued peer tutoring and at Princeton I gained more experience with teaching students by independently running laboratories and precepts for psychology and statistics courses. I also had the opportunity to hone my mentoring skills while hiring and managing different research assistants in the process of collecting my dissertation data. Something I love about teaching and mentoring is that you never know what questions you will receive or how it will challenge you to be better: whether that's being more clear in conveying information, finding new ways of expressing and sharing ideas, and even figuring out how to work with diverse groups in order to solve problems!
